  • I go through your statement line by line—not just the opening.
  • I flag vague waffle, weak reflection and anything that sounds forced.
  • I check whether your Engineering motivation actually lands.
  • You get clear written changes to make before you submit.
SECURE PAYMENT VIA STRIPE

Your words, made sharper. I give feedback and clear changes—not a rewrite or a guaranteed admissions outcome.

Other Engineering disciplines are welcome. My own application covered Civil, Mechanical and General Engineering, led to four offers and reached Imperial interview. If I’m unable to review yours properly, you’ll receive a full refund.

MY APPLICATION, BROKEN DOWN

Excerpts from my own
personal statement.

These are real lines from the statement I applied with, plus what I was actually trying to show. Take the thought process—not the wording.

QUICK CONTEXTI applied before UCAS moved to three questions. The format has changed, but showing real curiosity, evidence and reflection still matters.

01 START WITH A REAL REASON

“Engineering conveys the beauty of mathematics and physics into magnificent structures, ranging from micro-engineered probes to superstructures such as the Burj Khalifa.”

I always liked looking at the structures and built environment around Central London. Seeing how maths and physics became something real sparked my initial curiosity about Engineering.

02 FOLLOW THE THREAD

“My research concluded that Qualatex balloons filled with corn-starch were the most cost-effective and environmentally friendly method to produce our stress balls.”

Young Enterprise gave me a starting point in sustainability. I followed that curiosity into materials research instead of just listing the activity.

03 SAY WHAT YOU LEARNED

“Given size limits similar to the dimensions of a can to work with, we hoped to tackle structural issues with the aid of CAD software to enrich our design.”

CanSat and bridge-building gave me practical examples. I used them to show how I dealt with constraints, CAD, stress and calculation.

QUESTION 1Your reason

Why this course—and what genuinely makes you curious?

QUESTION 2Your preparation

How have your subjects prepared you for the degree?

QUESTION 3Your experience

What did you do outside class, and what did you learn?

WHERE IT TOOK ME

I used this statement across Civil, Mechanical and General Engineering. It led to four offers and an Imperial interview—but the useful bit here is the thinking behind it, not lines to copy.

What I won’t pretend to do.

I won’t choose your degree, guarantee an offer or replace official university guidance. Civil Engineering is my strongest lens, and I’ll be upfront if something needs more specialist knowledge.

FIG. 07 — GCSE & A-LEVEL MATHS

Let’s make it
finally click.

I know what it feels like to fall behind, doubt yourself and then turn it around. My sessions are clear, direct and built around where you are—not where a textbook assumes you should be.

Find the gapWe work out exactly where the confusion starts.
  2. 02
Build the methodI explain it clearly, then we solve it together.
  3. 03
Make it stickYou practise applying it without being spoon-fed.
